Palghar, Palghar district Maharashtra, three people, including two sadhus of Juna Akhara, were beaten to death. 110 people including 9 minors have been arrested in the murder case and a case has been registered against them in serious sections.Along with sending all the minors to the shelter home by 30 April, the accused have been kept in police custody. Two policemen at the Kasa police station have been suspended on charges of negligence.
How a rumor led to the killing of monks
The two sadhus, along with their driver, were going from Mumbai to Surat, Gujarat on the interior road via Gadchinchale village in Palghar district of Maharashtra.
Then someone flew the rumor of those sadhus being thieves, after which a crowd of a dozen people attacked the driver including the sadhus.Sadhus had 6 lakh rupees

Arrested through video
According to Palghar DM Shinde, a video of the incident went viral on social media, in which villagers are seen attacking a vehicle with sticks and stones, marked 110 people based on the video and registered an FIR. All have been arrested
